Privacy Policy
Last updated: 15 May 2026
1. About this policy
This Privacy Policy explains how TFB Beyond UG (i.G.) ("we", "us", "our") handles personal information collected through easyfreeqr.com. We comply with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, where applicable, with substantially similar provincial privacy laws — including Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25), the British Columbia Personal Information Protection Act (BC PIPA) and the Alberta Personal Information Protection Act (Alberta PIPA). This is the Canadian English version of the policy; a French-language version is published separately where applicable.
2. Data processing in the browser
QR code generation on easyfreeqr.com takes place entirely in the user's browser (client-side in JavaScript). The data you enter (URLs, text, Wi-Fi credentials, contact details, uploaded logos, etc.) is never transmitted to our servers — it is processed directly on your device. We do not replace your link with a tracking URL; the scanned QR code contains exactly the data you entered.
3. Server-side logs (hosting)
When you access the website, technical data (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp, referrer) is recorded by our hosting provider (Netlify Inc., 44 Montgomery Street, Suite 300, San Francisco, CA 94104, USA) in standard server logs. We rely on this information to operate and secure the website, which is a legitimate purpose a reasonable person would consider appropriate under PIPEDA Principle 4.2 (Identifying Purposes). Logs are automatically deleted after 7 days.
4. External CDNs (jsDelivr)
When the page loads, the following JavaScript libraries are loaded via the jsDelivr CDN (operated by Prospect One Sp. z o.o. via Cloudflare & Fastly):
- qr-code-styling — for the actual QR code generation
- jsPDF — for the PDF download
- Simple Icons — for official platform logos (Instagram, Facebook, etc.; only when "Social Media" is selected)
During loading, your IP address, user agent and referrer are transmitted to jsDelivr / Cloudflare / Fastly. We use these CDNs to deliver the site quickly and reliably. We use Subresource Integrity (SRI) so that loaded scripts cannot be tampered with.
5. Cookies and local storage
We use only:
- Strictly necessary storage in your browser (
localStorage) — for example, to remember your cookie choice and theme preference. - Advertising cookies (Google AdSense) — only after your explicit consent.
You can withdraw your consent at any time via the "Cookie settings" button in the footer.
6. Google AdSense (only after consent)
This website uses Google AdSense (Google LLC and its affiliates) to deliver advertisements. The AdSense script is only loaded dynamically after your explicit consent — before that, no data is transferred to Google. After consent, Google may use cookies and similar technologies to serve relevant ads, including personalized advertising via Consent Mode v2. See the Google Privacy Policy for details.
7. Amazon Associates Program (affiliate links)
On the recommendations page and individual topic pages, we link to products via the Amazon Associates Program. These links are clearly labelled as "Ad" or "sponsored".
If you click such a link and then make a purchase on Amazon, we receive a small commission — at no extra cost to you. When you click an affiliate link, Amazon may set a tracking cookie to attribute the purchase. You can prevent this at any time by disabling cookies in your browser or by not clicking our affiliate links. See the Amazon Canada Privacy Notice for details.
8. Cross-border transfers
We are based in Germany, and some of our service providers (such as Netlify and Google) are located in the United States or process data in the European Union. By using the website, you acknowledge that your personal information may be transferred to and processed outside Canada and may be subject to the laws of the countries where it is processed. We use contractual and technical safeguards to protect your information, consistent with PIPEDA Principle 4.1.3 and applicable provincial requirements.
9. Your rights under Canadian privacy law
Subject to PIPEDA and applicable provincial laws (including Quebec's Law 25, BC PIPA and Alberta PIPA), you have the right to:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal information
- Withdraw your consent to the collection, use or disclosure of your personal information (subject to legal or contractual restrictions)
- Request information about how your personal information is processed, including any automated decision-making (Quebec Law 25)
- Request portability of your personal information (Quebec Law 25, where applicable)
- Make a complaint about how we have handled your personal information
To exercise these rights, please contact us at hello@schnelligkeitstest.de. We will respond within 30 days, as required by PIPEDA.
10. Breach of security safeguards
If we become aware of a breach of security safeguards involving personal information under our control that creates a real risk of significant harm to an individual, we will notify the affected individuals and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, and keep records of the breach, as required by PIPEDA. Where applicable provincial laws (including Quebec's Law 25) impose additional notification obligations, we will comply with those requirements.
11. Complaints and supervisory authority
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal information, please contact us first so we have a chance to resolve the issue. You can also lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada:
